Registration Process on Airtel DLT Portal

Principle Entity Registration Process

1. Open the link https://dltconnect.airtel.in/signup/. The below show page would appear.



2. Click on Principle Entity and then select New Registration as shown below:



3. In the page shown below, if you have NOT registered with any other operator, select “No” and proceed. If already registered with other operators, please select “Yes” and enter the entity ID.



4. In the page that appears, as shown below, fill in the details and upload the documents requested.

 

5. Once done, click submit and you should receive an acknowledgement as shown below if all the details are correctly entered.



6. One email will be received post this for the successful completion of the registration.


Airtel's Header/SenderID Registration Process

Every principal entity need to register header with access providers as per the procedure below:

1. Login to the Airtel DLT Portal using your Principal Entity login credentials
2. Select SMS Headers and then select "Add Header" in the header page.

3. Fill the requisite details such as content category, sender ID / header and provide details of sender.



4. Submit the request for approval, header registrar will validate and verify details provided by the Principal Entity.
6. On successful registration, the registrar will approve and register the requested sender ID in the DLT Platform.
7. The Registrar Team will also communicate unsuccessful registration or any discrepancy i.e. missing document or incorrect details with the applicant via the registered email and mobile number within 72 hours from the time of registration.

Note:
Special characters such as @, $, %, &, etc. and blank space (“ ”) are not allowed.

Content Template Registration Process

It is required to register Content Templates on the DLT platform prior to transmission of commercial communication.

To register a Content Template, a principal entity need to follow below mentioned steps:

1. Login to the Airtel DLT Portal using Principal Entity login credentials
2. Go to Content Template and select "Add new template"

3. Fill in the template label, content of message.


-> Template Type: Services
-> Consent Type: Implicit/Explicit - Check Edmingle pre-approved Templates list Click here
-> Select Header
-> Enter Template Name
-> Template Message Type: Text
-> Enter SMS Template in the Template Message Box, replace place-holders with variable by clicking in Insert Variable and click on Save.
Note: In case using Edmingle default sms Template(recommended), Content Type will be Service Implicit/Explicit, you only need include to Your Brand Name in the Template while applying for New Content Template
4. Content Template registrar will validate and verify details provided.
5. On successful registration, the Content Template registrar will approve and register Content Template ID on DLT platform
7. The Registrar Team will communicate successful registration and any unsuccessful submissions in case of incorrect details or information entered with the applicant by disapproving the request. Disapproved requests can be re-submitted with changes.

Updating Approved Content Templates in the Edmingle

Once all the required SMS Template is approved, just go to your Admin account(provided by Edmingle) and update the Template ID against the action under SMS Settings
Check the steps, here we have attached the Airtel DLT platform screen recording for demonstration purposes.


1. Login to DLT Platform using Principal Entity login credentials
2. Go to the Content Template Section.
3. Filter out all the approved Templates and Download/export them.

4. Now come to the SMS setting on your Edmingle Admin account and click on Edit Template.
5. Update the following details:
- DLT Template ID of the respective Template in the DLT Template ID box.
- Approved Templates in the Template box
After pasting the content replace variables {#var#} with the system defined placeholders available at the right-side of the screen.
Note: While pasting content, do not enter any additional character which is not the pat of approved template and avoid spaces too.





** Send Templates ID and Templates separately to Edmingle support to update approved in your account for below mentioned Approved Templates, Edmingle team will update these Templates from backend- Click here to raise request

3. Sign Up OTP
