Freshdesk Integration
Please
follow the steps below to integrate Freshdesk with your LMS platform.
- Sign-up
on Freshdesk using the link https://freshdesk.com/omnichannel-signup.
- However, if
you have already setup the Freshdesk helpdesk, sign-in using the link below.
https://freshdesk.com/login - Click
on the gear icon available on the left side navigation panel.
Click on Channels option and then on Chat.
- Now,
enable the option Link Freshchat with
your Freshdesk Support Desk account. Once enabled, the Widget token will be available.
- Click on Copy from Freshchat and you will land-up on the below page. Then, click on the back button beside Account Settings.
Note: A pop-up may open in which one would have to fill the basic organization information and then the user will land on the above page. - Now,
click on Mobile SDKS.
- Retrieve
the APP ID, APP KEY and the Domain from
the below screen.
- In
a new window, open the Edmingle LMS panel and login with the admin credentials.
- Go
to Settings, click on Integrations and then on Freshdesk Messaging.
- Click
on Activate, enter the following
details and click on Submit.
- Web Token – Retrieved
in Step 3.
- Web Host – Update as https://wchat.in.freshchat.com
- App ID – Retrieved in Step 6.
- App Key – Retrieved
in Step 6.
- App Domain – Retrieved
in Step 6.
