Navigation to Admins & Instructors

The Admins & Instructors section helps you manage the people who run and teach the courses. You need to go to this section to assign roles, make changes, or check on the admins and instructors. This ensures everything runs smoothly and that courses are managed properly.

Click on the “Users” dropdown to unwrap it and click on the “Admins & Instructors” option.



Admins & Instructors List View

The Admins & Instructors List View allows you to manage and track all instructors & admins in your online learning platform. This feature is essential for monitoring user roles because it adds new instructors, manages existing ones, and ensures smooth administrative tasks.

View Active Users

Viewing Active Users in an online learning platform helps you see which learners are actively using the platform. View Archive Users

Viewing Archive Users will help you to check the learners who are actively using the platform. This allows you to track their progress, offer support if needed, and improve their learning experience.

Click on the User Filter Dropdown and choose the “Active Users” option.



Export Admins’ & Instructors’ Details

Exporting admins' and instructors' details lets you organize and manage important information easily. This helps you keep records, review user data, and share it with the team for better management. It makes tracking and reporting simpler, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Click on the “Export” button in the top-right corner of the screen.



Add Instructors

Adding instructors to an online learning platform lets you assign trainers to courses. This ensures that each course has the right person to help guide and support learners. By adding instructors, you can organize the platform better and improve the overall learning experience for learners.

Step 1: Click on the “+ Add Instructors” button in the top-right corner of the screen.



Step 2: A new window will open on the screen. You can select the mode of import through 2 different methods: “Enter Details Manually” and “Upload File”.

Enter Details Manually

To add instructors to your online learning platform, you can manually enter their details. This step helps ensure that instructors are properly registered and ready to teach or manage courses. By adding instructors manually, you can keep an organized list of educators, making it easier to manage courses and communicate effectively with the teaching staff.

Step 1: Fill in all the details using the instructor’s basic details.



Step 2: Click on the “Register Instructor” button to register the instructor's details.



Step 3: After clicking on the “Register Instructor” button, a success message will appear at the top of the screen.



Note: You can click on the “+ Add Another Instructor” link to add another instructor's details column. It will allow you to add multiple instructors at once.



Upload File

Uploading a file to add instructors in an online learning platform makes it easier to add multiple instructors at once. This is helpful when you have many instructors to register, as it saves time and reduces mistakes. By simply uploading the file, you can quickly add all the instructor details, making course management more efficient.

Step 1: Click on the “Upload a CSV file (.csv)” link and select the CSV file from your device.



Step 2: Click on the “Register Instructor” button to register the instructor.



Note: You can click on the “Download Sample File” button to download a sample file and make changes in it to fill in the learners’ details. Then, it is ready to be uploaded while you are enrolling multiple learners in bulk.

Step 3: After clicking on the “Register Instructor” button, a success message will appear at the top of the screen.



Note: We can see that both instructors have been added to the learning platform.

Note: When adding instructors to the online learning platform, please note that the number of instructors you can add depends on the plan you have chosen. 


Here are the details of the different plans:


  • Core plan: Allows 2 instructors/admins/superadmins/custom roles.

  • Prime plan: Allows 6 instructors/admins/superadmins/custom roles.

  • Power plan: Allows 12 instructors/admins/superadmins/custom roles.

  • Maxx plan: Requires discussion for further details.

For adding more users beyond the plan limit, an add-on is required. Please contact support for further assistance.


View Calendar

Viewing an instructor’s calendar on the online learning platform helps you see their schedule for classes, meetings, and events. This makes it easier to stay organized and keep track of important dates.

Click on the 3-dot actions icon and click on the “View Calendar” option.



Reset Password

Resetting the password of an instructor on the online learning platform helps them regain access if they forget their password or have trouble logging in. This ensures that instructors can quickly get back to managing their courses and keeps their accounts secure. It’s an important step for both account recovery and security.

Step 1: Click on the 3-dot actions icon and click on the “Reset Password” option.



Step 2: A new panel will open in the center of the screen. Enter a password in the “New Password” field and enter the same password in the field below it to confirm your password.



Step 3: Click on the “Reset Password” button to successfully reset the instructor’s password.



Step 4: After clicking on the “Reset Password” button, a success message will appear at the top of the screen.



Change the Instructor Role 

Changing an instructor's role in an online learning platform lets administrators update their access and responsibilities. This is important to make sure that each instructor has the correct permissions to manage courses, enroll learners, and handle other tasks. By changing roles, you can better organize the platform and assign tasks to the right people for smoother operations.

Step 2: Click on the Change Role dropdown and select an appropriate role, then click on the “Update Role” button.



Step 3: After clicking on the “Update Role” button, a success message will appear on the top of the screen.



Archive an Instructor

Archiving an instructor in an online learning platform lets you remove them from the active list without deleting their information. This is helpful when an instructor is no longer active or part of the platform, but you still want to keep their data. Archiving keeps the platform organized and ensures that only active instructors are listed.

Step 1: Click on the 3-dot actions icon and click on the “Archive” option.



Step 2: A new panel will open in the center of the screen. Click on the “Archive User” button to confirm your decision.



Step 3: After clicking on the “Archive User” button, a success message will appear at the top of the screen.



Edit an Instructor’s Profile

Editing an instructor’s profile in an online learning platform lets you update their details, like contact information or role. This is important to make sure the instructor’s information is accurate and current, helping with communication and access to platform features. Keeping profiles updated ensures the platform runs smoothly and efficiently.

Step 2: Make changes in the necessary fields and click on the “Update Profile” button at the bottom of the screen.

Classes Taught

This section provides a detailed view of the instructor's classes and their attendance. It includes information such as the batch and course name, the number of classes completed, and any late or absent records. This helps admins and instructors easily track progress and manage their schedules effectively.

Clear Session

Clearing an instructor's session in an online learning platform helps remove old session data, making the system run more smoothly. This is especially helpful after a class is finished or if there’s a need to reset things for updates or troubleshooting.
