This article will take you through the process on how to send a reset password link to the individual users (student/teacher/admin) as and when required.
Please follow the steps below:
Once you found the user, click on his/her name
to go into their profile.
Then, click on Actions and select Send Reset Password Link (as shown in
the screenshot).
A pop-up will open which will allow you to select the medium to send the link (Email & SMS).
You can send the link in the following ways:
Select
SMS if you want to send a text
message to the user.
Select
Email if you want to send a mail to
the user.
Select
both (SMS & Email) if you want
to send the link to both email and SMS.
Once
the end user receives the Email/SMS, he/she will click on the Reset Password button and will land on
the following page.
Once
the user provides the new password in the fields and click on RESET, he/she
will land on their respective dashboard.
Note:
This template is already
registered and mapped with Edmingle’s sender ID. Therefore, all the clients who
are using Edmingle’s sender ID will be able to use this template right away,
whereas clients who use their own sender ID would first have to get it whitelisted
and mapped with their own sender ID.
