How to Apply for an Android Application?

Edmingle allows you to deploy your own Android application to provide a seamless on-the-go mobile learning experience for your learners. Depending on your subscription plan, you may be eligible for either a common app or a fully branded app.
WarningEligibility Based on Plan
  • Core Plan: Access to the Common Android Application only (hosted and branded under Edmingle).

  • Prime Plan & Above: Eligible for a Branded and White-labelled Android Application published in your developer account. 

Step-by-Step Application Process

1. Fill the Android Application Deployment Form

You will need to fill in the following details:

  • Your Name

  • Email Address

  • Edmingle LMS URL (e.g., youracademy.edmingle.com)

    • To find your LMS URL:

      • Log in as Super Admin

      • Go to Settings β†’ Website & App Setup β†’ Website

      • Copy the Website URL as shown in the LMS


2. Application & Developer Details

Fill out the following in the form:

  • Application Name
     This name will appear on the Google Play Store (e.g., β€œABC Academy”).

  • Google Play Console Developer Name
     You can find this by:

  • Are you updating an existing app?
     Check the box if this application is an update to an already published app.

  • Upload your Academy Logo
     Upload in high-resolution format (PNG preferred, under 1MB).

3. Google Play Console Access (Important)

Admin access is mandatory.
 After filling out the form, you must provide Admin-level access to your Google Play Developer Account by inviting:

Only Organizational Developer Accounts are Accepted
Edmingle only accepts Organizational Google Developer Accounts for app deployment.
If you currently have an Individual Account, please convert it to an organizational account by following this guide:

Next Steps

  1. Complete and submit the Android Application Deployment Form.

  2. Ensure all fields are accurate and the logo is uploaded.

  3. Provide admin access to appstore@edmingle.com.

  4. Wait for a confirmation from the Edmingle team regarding your app status.
