How to manage the submission?

Managing submissions in an online learning platform helps you keep track of what students are turning in and when. It allows teachers to check assignments, give feedback, and make sure students are meeting their deadlines. This is important because it avoids confusion and helps everyone stay organized.


When submissions are managed properly, it's easier to see which students need extra help and support. It also makes grading fair and clear for everyone. Overall, managing submissions makes the learning process smoother and helps both teachers and students stay on the same page.

Navigation

Navigating to the Submissions section is essential for managing and reviewing all submitted assignments. This section allows instructors and admins to track learner submissions and ensure that all work meets the required guidelines. Accessing the Submissions section helps maintain organized course management, supports assessment processes, and enhances communication between learners and educators.


AlertCarefully follow the instructions below that will guide you on how you can navigate to the “Submissions” section in your organization’s learning platform.

Navigate to the panel on the right side of the screen, then click on the “Course Delivery” dropdown to unwrap it, then click on the “Submissions” option.


Submissions List View

The Submissions Overview will help you manage and organize the learner submissions in the learning platform. Knowing how to use this section is important for keeping your content organized and easy to find. Refer to the following table to understand the “Categories” section.

Type the learner's name or email in the search bar to find specific learners.

Use the filter to select the submission status (e.g., Unevaluated, Evaluated, All Submissions).

View the submissions that have not yet been evaluated.

Evaluated Submissions

Click here to see submissions that have been evaluated.

Select this to view all submissions, no matter their evaluation status.

Download CSV

Click this button to download the submission data in CSV format.

Learner Name

Check the learner's name who has made the submission.

Assessment Name

Look at the name of the assessment submitted by the learner.

Evaluation Status

See the evaluation status of the submission (e.g., Not Evaluated, Evaluated).

Submission Date

View the date and time when the submission was made.

Assessment Type

Identify the type of assessment (e.g., Online exercise).

Marks Obtained

Check the marks the learner has earned for the submission.

Total Marks

View the total marks possible for the assessment.

Percentage

See the percentage of marks the learner obtained based on the total marks.

Grade

Check the grade assigned to the learner based on their performance.

Course Name

Find the name of the course the learner is enrolled in.

Batch Name

See the name of the batch the learner belongs to.

Review

Click the review option to edit or check the submission.

Submission Review Icon

Click the review icon to make changes or view details of the submission.

Choose how many items (submissions) to display per page (e.g., 10 items per page).



Filter Submissions

Filtering submissions in the curriculum helps you easily find specific learner work. It makes it simpler to track progress, check performance, and stay organized.


AlertCarefully follow the instructions below that will guide you to understand the process of filtering the submissions in the course.

Step 1: Click on the “Filters” button.



Step 2: A new panel will open on the right side of the screen. Click on the specific course(s), batch(es), assessment name(s), instructor(s), and data range(s), then click on the checkboxes to filter them. Then, click the “Apply Filter” button at the screen's bottom left corner.



Step 3: You can select the custom date checkbox in the date range, set the date range, and click on the “Apply Filter” button at the bottom left corner of the screen.


Download the Submissions CSV File

Downloading learners' submissions as a CSV file lets you save their work in a simple format. This helps you organize and review the submissions easily, even offline.

Step 1: Click on the “⬇️ Download CSV” button to download the submissions CSV file.



Step 2: After downloading the learners’ submission, a success message will appear on the screen.


Review the Unevaluated Submission

Reviewing learners' unevaluated submissions lets you check their work before grading. This ensures the evaluation is correct and fair for all learners.

Step 1: Click on the submission editing icon.


Review the Evaluated Submission

Reviewing learners' evaluated submissions lets you check the grades and feedback given. This helps make sure the evaluation is correct and gives a chance to make any needed changes or clarifications.


AlertCarefully follow the instructions below that will guide you on how to efficiently review the evaluated submissions in your organization’s online learning platform.

Step 1: Click on the submission editing icon.



Step 2: Click on the “Review Questions” button at the bottom of the page.



Step 3: Click on the “Previous Question” button or the “Next Question” button to move to the previous or upcoming question.



Step 4: The green option is the right option is right answer, while the red one is the option is the one the learners had selected.



Step 5: You can check the number of correct, incorrect, and unattempted questions that the learner had attempted.



Step 6: You can also check the list of questions attempted correctly, incorrectly, and not attempted on the right side of the screen.



Step 7: You can also change the evaluation status by clicking on the “Mark As Not Evaluated” button at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
