Please
find below the list of features which went LIVE on our Edmingle platform this
month. In this article, we have explained the features and the steps to follow
to enable the same from the admin panel.
Following
is the list of features:
- International
Selling – Using Edmingle’s Payment Gateway

International Selling – Using Edmingle’s Payment
Gateway
This
feature is now LIVE for clients who subscribed to our Growth Plan and are using
Edmingle’s Payment Gateway to sell their courses.
Please
go through the article International
Selling to set-up the feature and sell your courses globally. However,
please make sure to reach the Key Points to Remember in the article.
Purchase Flow
We have made
few changes in the course purchase flow. This is to make sure that the checkout
page is easily accessible by the learners who either have to clear an
outstanding payment of the course they purchased through installment payment
options, or have enrolled to the course to access the teaching material
available for free preview and are now looking to purchase the complete course.
- Accessing Free Preview Course material
- If
a learner is enrolled into a course for free to access the material applicable
for free preview. The particular course card on the dashboard will display a small
note as Enrolled in Free Preview (as
shown in the screenshot below).
- As
shown in the screenshot below, the user will be restricted to access the locked
material and instead, a message will be shown to the user to purchase the course
to unlock the contents.
- The
Purchase Now link will take the user
to the checkout page to make the payment and the user can click on Pay Now option to make the payment
- On
the other hand, if the user accesses the My
Purchases page, they will see a message “You are currently enrolled in the free preview of this course” (this
is applicable for the course in which they enrolled for free) and the Purchase Course option will take them
to the checkout page to make the payment.
- Once
the learner makes the payment, they will land on the below page. The Continue Learning option will take them
to the course page, from where they will be able to access the complete
material of the course.
- Course Payment – Installment Option
Installment payment options can be set for the courses in our system. If a learner has selected the installment payment option to buy any course, the system will not allow the user to access the course further if the subsequent installment payment is due.
Going through the scenario in which the payment due date is breached and the learner has not made the payment: - The
course section page will display the message “You have pending payments for this course, kindly clear the due
payments to get access” once the payment due date is crossed.
- Once
the user clicks on the option Clear Due
Payment, he/she will be redirected to the checkout page. The user can click
on the Pay Now option to clear the
payment.
- On
the other hand, if the user goes to My Purchases
page and selects a course for which the payment is due or pending in the near
future, he/she will be able to see the Pay
Now option available for the pending or upcoming installment, respectively.
- Clicking
on the Pay Now option will take the
user to the checkout page.
- Once
the payment is cleared, the user receive the transaction successful message. The
Continue Learning option on this
page will take them to the course page to access the course material.
