A Batch is a group of items, tasks, or records that are handled together to make work easier and more organized. The Batches Overview shows a clear summary of all current and past batches, so users can see their status and progress easily.
This overview helps users quickly find information about each batch, organize their work better, and spot any problems. Knowing about batches and how they are doing is important to manage tasks well and finish them on time.
Through this documentation, we will walk you through an overview of the batches section in the learning platform.
Let’s get started 🚀
Before proceeding, please read the “How to Add a Batch to the Course?” document. It provides the necessary steps for setting up your course structure, which is required before archiving a batch.
A Batch is a group of learners who join the same course at the same time. By going to the Learners section in a Batch, teachers can easily manage the learners, see how they are doing, and talk to everyone in the group.
Carefully follow the instructions below to learn how you can efficiently navigate to the “Batches” section in your organization’s learning platform.
Step 1: Navigate to the left sidebar of your learning platform, click on the “Course Delivery” dropdown to expand it, then select the “Batches” option.
Step 2: After clicking on the “Batches” option, a new window will open on the screen (as shown in the image below) that showcases the list of all the batches.
Through this section, we will guide you to manage different sections in a batch, including learners, sessions, attendance reports, content progress, and assessment progress.
The Batches Window View displays key details about an individual batch, including viewing batch details, editing the batch, marking the batch as completed, and archiving the batch. This window view helps the educator to efficiently monitor and manage the batch’s status and activities.
The window view shows you all the important information about a batch. You can see how many learners are enrolled, when the batch starts and ends, and the overall progress of the class. This view helps you easily keep track of everything happening in the batch.
In the Details Window View, you can see the total number of learners enrolled in the batch, the start & end dates of the batch, and the cumulative class progress.
The “Actions” dropdown menu helps educators to manage a batch efficiently. As an educator, you can use the options in this menu to:
Edit Batch Details: Update information about the batch, such as its schedule or assigned instructor.
Add Learners: Enroll new learners into the batch.
Add Extra Class: Schedule an additional class for the batch if needed.
Open Schedule: View or manage the batch’s session schedule.
These actions help you easily organize and manage the batch and ensure that all learners are up to date.
This section is designed to help you manage your learners by providing important data on their attendance and progress. Knowing how to use this section is essential for tracking each learner’s details and taking necessary actions, ensuring the smooth running of your course.
