Setting up a grading system is essential to evaluate learners’ performance effectively and maintain consistency across your courses. A well-defined grading system not only helps educators assess progress but also provides learners with a clear understanding of their achievements. By customizing your grading system within the platform, you can align evaluations with your institution’s standards and ensure transparency in results. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to set up and manage your grading system seamlessly.
To access the Grading System in LMS, Go to Settings and click Grading System.
The grading system allows you to create custom grade ranges and display both percentages and grades across exams on all platforms – Admin Panel, Student Portal, and mobile apps. By configuring grade ranges, you can standardize performance evaluation and provide learners with clear feedback on their results.
How to Enable Grading System
Enable Grading System
Toggle the switch to enable the grading system. Once enabled, grading will be applied based on the configuration you set.
Choose the Number of Grades
Use the + or – buttons to select the number of grade categories you want to define (e.g., A, B, C, D, etc.).
Grade Configuration
You can configure grade ranges by dragging the sliders on the percentage bar. Each range corresponds to a grade, which learners will see on their results.
In the example configuration shown:
From 0% to 18% → Grade F1 (Red)
From 19% to 31% → Grade E (Orange)
From 32% to 47% → Grade D (Light Orange)
From 48% to 68% → Grade C (Yellow)
From 69% to 84% → Grade B (Green)
From 85% to 100% → Grade A (Blue)
This flexible system allows you to define the grade boundaries as per your institution’s standards.
Once you have configured the grading ranges, click Save Changes to apply the settings. If you wish to discard your adjustments, click Discard Changes.
