Navigation

The Courses Section is where you can see all the classes you can take. Here, you can keep track of what you have completed and manage the courses you are signed up for. By going to this section, you can find new courses, look at your study materials, and stay organized while learning.

Carefully follow the instructions below to know how you can efficiently navigate to the “Courses” section in your organization’s learning platform.


Step 1: Navigate to the left sidebar of your learning platform, click on the “Course Delivery” dropdown to expand it, select the “Courses” option, then click on a particular course.



Step 2: A new window will open on the screen that lists all the courses.



Courses List View

The Courses List View provides a streamlined overview of available courses, displaying each course’s title alongside its associated logo for quick identification. The "Actions" column features a three-dot menu enabling efficient management (such as editing details or reordering priorities), ensuring seamless organization and navigation. This structured layout simplifies access and control, catering to both administrators and learners.

Courses Filter List View

The course list window provides a filtering option to help educators manage and navigate the available courses. They can filter courses based on their status, such as active or archived, to quickly access relevant information. The key filtering options include:

Course Search List View

The course window includes a search functionality that allows users to quickly find specific courses from the list. By entering keywords or course names in the search bar, users can locate the desired courses without manually scrolling through the entire list.

Steps to Create a Course

Making a course for the curriculum is an important part of planning a good education. Being aware of how you can create a course helps you organize the lessons and include the right information. This way, learners can learn better and enjoy their studies more.

Carefully follow the instructions below to know how you can efficiently create a course in the curriculum for the learners.


Step 1: Launch your LMS account, click on the “Login” button at the top-right corner of the interface, and enter your credentials to kick off.



Step 2: After a successful login, you will be redirected to the dashboard. Unwrap the "Course Delivery" category from the left sidebar and select "Courses" from the populated list.



Step 3: You will find a list of existing courses. Click on the "+ New Course" button to create a new course.


INFO: From the list view, you can also archive courses, access archived courses, edit courses, and reorder them.



Step 4: A panel will appear on the right side of the screen. Enter the required details and values in the provided fields to create a course. The required fields are described in the table below.

Thumbnail Image

Upload a course thumbnail to visually represent your course. The maximum file size is 1MB, and the preferred dimensions are 1080px x 720px. You can either click to upload or drag and drop the image.

Optional

Course Name (Required)

Enter the title of your course (up to 100 characters). This name will be displayed to learners and should be clear and concise.

Mandatory

Description

Provide a brief overview of the course (up to 400 characters). A well-written description helps learners understand what they will gain from the course.

Optional

Pretty Name

Enter a short, user-friendly version of the course name (up to 50 characters). This is useful for branding and easy recognition.

Optional

Course Type (Required)

Choose between two options: Online only (for virtual courses) or Classroom Program (for in-person training at your institution). Select the appropriate option based on your course format.

You have successfully created a course that can now be viewed in the course list under the Courses section.



After creating the course, you can edit its details and add additional information from the Create and Edit Your Course window.
