How to Create Push Notification Campaigns?

Push notifications are sent to learners using the Edmingle mobile app. You can use this for feature announcements, event updates, or any short and timely nudges.

🔔 These are app-based notifications and do not require any third-party integration setup.

Step 1: Enter Basic Campaign Details

1. Go to Marketing → Campaigns

2. Click Create New Campaign

3. Enter a Campaign Name (e.g., New Webinar Alert)

4. Select Push as the channel (you can combine it with others like Email/SMS if needed)

5. Choose Delivery Time:
   
   

• Immediately

• Or schedule for a Specific Time
  

Basic Details

Push campaigns support all learner targeting options:

• Select Learners Manually – Search and filter by name or email

• Select a Segment—Choose from existing event-based or course-based groups

• Upload CSV – Bulk upload learner list with phone numbers/emails
  

  Select Audience

⚠️ Learners must have the Edmingle app installed and notifications enabled to receive push campaigns.

Step 3: Build & Test Your Campaign

Select or Create a Template

In Step 3 – Build & Test, click on Select Template or create a new one.

To create a new push template:

1. Click Create Template

2. Fill in:

• Template Name (for internal reference)

• Notification Title (what appears bold in the push notification)

• Template Body – Message text (can include placeholders like {{institution_name}})
  
  

3. Click Save and Continue

A live preview will show how the message will appear on a mobile device.

Test & Go Live

1. Add a test mobile number and click Test to send a sample push
   Once everything looks good, click Go Live

2. Confirm submission from the popup
