Managing the curriculum means organizing and updating this content to keep it useful, interesting, and focused on learning goals. Good curriculum management makes sure learners have a smooth and easy learning experience. 


Furthermore, it also helps meet the different needs of learners and includes new information or tools when needed. When educators manage the curriculum, they keep the courses high quality, follow how learners are doing, and adjust to changes in education. This way, learners can learn better, and the platform can be successful.

Navigation

The “Curriculum” section in the Online Learning Platform is where you can find all your course lessons, study materials, and plans. When you go here, you can see what you’ve completed, check what’s coming next, and keep your learning on track.

Carefully follow the instructions below to learn how you can efficiently navigate to the “Curriculum” section in your organization’s learning platform.


Navigate to the panel on the right side of the screen, then click on the “Course Delivery” dropdown to unwrap it, then click on the “Curriculum” option.



Curriculum List View

The curriculum list view helps you manage and organize your course content in one place. You can view, update, and add new curricula, making it easier to keep everything organized. This tool is important for ensuring your courses are well-structured and easy to manage.

Use this to search for specific curriculum within the course delivery section.

This column shows the number of sections or materials included in the curriculum.

This column contains options for managing or editing the curriculum.

Click on this icon to access additional actions such as edit, delete, etc.

Use this dropdown to select the number of items per page, allowing for pagination.



Add a Curriculum to the Course

Adding a curriculum to a course helps organize the content in a clear way, so learners can easily follow along. This is important because it ensures the course is well-structured and helps achieve the learning goals efficiently.

Carefully follow the instructions below that will guide you on how to efficiently add a curriculum to the course.


Step 1: Click on the “+ Add Curriculum” button in the top-right corner of the screen.



Step 2: A panel will appear on the right side of the screen. Enter the required details in the provided fields to add a new curriculum, then click on the “Add Curriculum” button. The required fields are described in the table below.

Enter the name of the curriculum you wish to add.

Select the branch where the curriculum will be associated.

Maximum View Duration

Choose whether the curriculum can be viewed for an unlimited or restricted time.



Tip — After clicking on the “Add Curriculum” button, a success message will appear at the top of the screen.



Edit a Curriculum

Editing a curriculum in a course lets you make changes to the content and structure. This is important to keep the course up to date and ensure it meets the learning goals effectively.

Carefully follow the instructions below that will guide you on how to efficiently edit a curriculum in the course in your organization’s learning platform.


Step 1: Click on the 3-dot action icon, then click on the “Edit” icon.



Step 2: A panel will appear on the right side of the screen. Enter the required details in the provided fields to edit the curriculum, then click on the “Update Curriculum” button. The required fields are described in the table below.

Note: If you don’t want the maximum view duration to be unlimited, you can restrict it by clicking on the “Restricted” radio button, setting the duration, and clicking on the “Update Curriculum” button.



Note: After clicking on the “Update Curriculum” button, a success message will appear at the top of the screen, as shown in the image below.



Delete a Curriculum

Deleting a curriculum in a course helps you remove content that is no longer needed. This keeps the course organized and focused on the most important materials for a better learning experience.

Carefully follow the instructions below that will guide you on how to efficiently delete a curriculum in the course in your organization’s learning platform.


Step 1: Click on the 3-dot action icon and click on the “Delete” icon.



Step 2: Click on the “Delete Curriculum” in the confirmation box.



Note: After clicking on the “Delete Curriculum” button, a success message will appear at the top of the screen, as shown in the image below.
